I've sucessfully swapping my blown 4.3L OMC to Chevy truck 4.3L engine. The entire Chevy 4.3L long block is completely a truck stock part including the cam except for the intake manifold. I am currently using it's original auto oil filter, spark plugs, and engine oil (Penzoil 10w-40). Will this be OK to use or do I need to get the "marine" oil filter, spark plugs, and engine oil?

Thanks Bond!

What about the power steering fluid, is it ok to use car/truck fluid?

I need to check the oil, currently I know of two place to check for the oil level. 1. Engine oil. 2. Vertical drive oil. What other oil do I need to check?

On vertical drive oil, it seems I need to get a very large flat head screwdriver to open it. IF I need to add, what is the correct oil? Keep in mind i bought this boat used with blown engine and I am new to the boat. Yes I've search and read the manual but OMC is no longer in business and I have no clue on the equivalent. Thank you for your time.
