I have an 85 hp force outboard and it currently has a comprop 4 blade 4x12.8x17 on it and I see the prop that was supplied by the manufacturer was a 3 blade aluminum 13x19. I just machined the clutch dogs down so that it would stop slipping out of gear at wot. It runs fine at wot now after doing that but when trying to pull a skier it slips out. I was wondering if going back to the manufacturer supplied prop specs would help prevent the clutch dogs from getting damaged. I don't have a tach or spedo on the boat right now so I don't know wot or speed.
Thanks
