4 HP EVINRUDE WHAT YEAR IS IT ???

I have checked the outboard today, 4 hp Evinrude, starts and runs great (only some light blue smoke comes out ), but owner doesn't know the year of the motor. I've a Mod.# E4BRCRM, PLEASE HELP, fellas ! <br />BTW, guy will sell the motor for CAN $350 (firm), is it a good price?

CR in the Model number indicates it's an '84. Seems like an average price around here. Check the compression first before buying.
