^^^ Good advice but just so you know you will need to know if you just replace the impeller. Before ordering there is two different choices depending on if you have a plastic housing, or a metal housing. If you order a kit I think it will come with a plastic housing and quite expensive around 115 dollars.When I did my 1976 I bought kit number 0379763 witch gives you an impeller, 2 screws, the water tube grommet and a drive key. For 19 dollars ,and I also bought the wear plate for 11 dollars. The 0379763 kit does not include the housing and the impeller is for the metal housing.Do not forget to replace the O-ring on the top of the drive shaft.
