hi ...i have a 115 johson 4 stroke 2004 ob ...when i try to start it up for the first time when it is cold it runs for a few seconds then stalls ....then starts right up on second try and runs fine the rest of the day ....i also had it runing at the dock and in neutral and took it up to 4000rpms and it started to miss was that the anti rev kicking in ty for any help

Welcome to iboats. :) <br /><br />Keep in mind that they're primarily made for warmer weather. A bit of difficulty starting isn't at all unexpected in your climate at this time of year. Your Neutral rev limiter probably kicked in if it has such a thing. If it's a problem when the boat is underway, then it's a problem. Revs aren't good on a motor when there's no load.
