Just stumbled across a mercury high five for cheap so I bought it.....Can you guys give me a heads up on what I can expect? I currently have a tahoe q7 with a 5.0mpi(260hp) and bravo 1 outdrive. It has a solas 14.25 4 blade 17 pitch prop on it right now. It currently runs 5200 rpm( Im a little overpitched), The prop I bought is a 13.50 17 pitch high five. Do you guys have any ideas where I will be? I figure I might be a little of 5000 still, but I thought the five blade might be a stump puller for heavy loads and slalom ski'ing. THanks

Edit....the part number is MERCURY PART# 48-821154A45, it says it has the flo torq, but is that the flo torq 2? Also it fits alpha drives, and mercruiser said it wouldn't be a problem on my bravo 1 as they are the same.....

The A45 is the version number of the prop, your A45 should not have PVS but will have Flo-Torq II.

I think you will not find to much of a difference in rpm* but may pick up some mph, my 21" HighFive is 2 mph faster then my 21" BlackMax. You will like the hole shot but its just a bit better then the same size Enertia, the thing I love about the HighFive is it grabs the water, never any blowouts, no cavitation its solid. If you want to get back to your skier fast nothing will beat the HighFive.
