I just had this powerhead bored .015 over the machinist said the crank and rods were ok so i reassemled it and took it for a run ,at or oround 2500 to 2700 rpm there is a rattle, sounds like it was coming from the top end, i checked the the flyweel for play and i could rock it just a little bit in all directions how much should you be able to move the crankshaft side motion it still has the original bearings, would this cause a rattle at a certain rpm? also # three cylinder is damp on the piston but not as much as the other three cylinders,would this be in the reed plates not letting enough fuel to the cylinder? the #1 cylinder was scored thats why i tore it down to start with and found the oil pump locked up causing the plastic gear to be destroyed,i did not replace the gear /gears. i will premix. thanks for any help,Tim.
