40 hp. mariner prop??????

Hello all, spun the hub on my prop and need to buy a new alluminum prop. Thing is, the old prop has no markings so was lookin for some help on wich one to buy. I plan on ordering from this site.
Have a 1986 (?) mariner on a 24 foot suntracker pontoon boat. I dont know much bout the boat since I havn't had it long. Here are the markings from the boat.

MAX CAPACITIES.... 15 persons or 2100 lbs.
2590 lbs. persons, motor and gear.
115 hp. motor max
model-- suntracker party barge 24

MOTOR....... Mariner oil injected 40 hp.
Model- Mariner 40ELO
code- 6e9 L
seriel #- 429965
I measured from center of old prop to edge of one blade and it was 5 3/4 inch
I don't know WOT or operating range as the tach doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, that's a big boat for the 40hp motor you've got there. Without knowing what the old prop was, how fast it would move you and what your RPMs at WOT were it's only a guess as to what prop you need.

My GUESS would be an 11p aluminium prop such as the solas amita 4-blade.

If you can post more details we will be able to provide a much better prop recomendation.
