I live in Melbourne Australia and have bought a boat with a 50HP Blue band merc.<br />The motor has been serviced for years by a proper outboard repairer/technician, but when I get on the Aussie sites they have nothing but critism of this type of motor. It starts 1st time and runs like a dream. What more can you ask for ? Any feedback from any other countries would be appreciated. Mercury have a very good worldwide reputation and they are seen on evert 2nd boat here.
