I have no spark on my 402 Merc. It was working when I parked it. A day later no spark? I would like test the stator before I buy a new CDI. How would I go about testing the stator. I have a multimeter for resistance testing I just don't know what the resistances should be. Could it be anything other than the CDI or the stator? The Ser # is 7086840. I think it is between a 1975 and a 1978.
