I am looking for a preferably used lower unit for my 40hp Mariner. The one that I have is the one that used to be made by yamaha. Its somewhere between a 1981 and a 1985 model. It is the short shaft version. I have been told that a yamaha of the same year will fit. If anyone has one and wants to sell it at a reasonable cost PLEASE email me at wareagle50@hotmail.com.
