45 HP Elgin ID numbers..??

i have a mid-60's (?) Elgin outboard, 45 hp. need to identify serial and model number so I can find a replacement throttle cable for it. The only numbers i can find on engine are:<br />2449 - located top, towards back<br />3604530 - located top, towards back<br />73853 - drivers side on cylinder<br />c3hc-100 - flywheel<br />x12825 - flywheel<br />ha2014 151 - transom bracket<br />75801 - transom bracket<br /><br />hope this info is enough....can email pictures of engine and much needed throttle cable if helpful. It is mounted on a one owner, 1965 sears 150, and sears trailer. both are in great shape!<br /><br />thanks for any help.

I cant find any of those numbers but based on<br />the year of the boat the best guess would be a 65 McCulloch.Model number would be something like<br /> 574.60580 574 indicates McCulloch 571 would be West Bend<br /> Parts may be difficult to find but try<br />the scott guy at:web.a-znet.com/~scottguy. or<br /> www.****smarine.net you could also try<br /> The Antique Outboard Club at: www.aomci.org
