I need to replace the impeller on my 94 454 Mag Bravo1 -Can this be done without removing the sea water pump from the engine? It has the fuel pump on top of it and was not wanting to mess with that and Vbelts---
The pump was replaced in 2005 but feel need to change impeller as being now 4+ yrs old.
Is there any instructions for this?

The rebuild kit I was told to buy is 46-807151A14 comes with 1 piece housing
47-59362T6 Impeller kit comes with out housing

Thanks
John

Nope,...If you don't wanta Mess with it,... Hire it done...
Nothing is as simple as you Think it is...Or as Easy as you Wish it is....

Btw,... You're right,... It's about 2 Years overdue...

it's only a couple of bolts and a belt to remove. Fairly simple on the bench. I would think near impossible for even a contortionist to do it on the engine.

Yes pull it off. It's not really that bad. By all means upgrade to the one piece housing too.

pull the 4 bolts out of the pulley and you will have a little more room and better insight for removal.

Only 2 or 3 of the 6 bolts go through the bracket.

Just don't get the hoses mixed up.
