The red wire goes from the Alternator directly to the battery.On the alternator,the red wire goes to the lug with the bigger nut.No directions with your kit?
i got the kit second hand. so no instructions come with it. i got a wire going from the alt to the starter. that is the orange wire. i just dont know where this dang red wire goes. the system works.
