i think the heat gage did go up. it went up today and the engine cut off driver was not paying attention on the gage. did not try top start it back, limp home on one engine.<br /><br />listen up guys he rebiult the engine because it was blowing oil from the valve cover breethe hose. after he got it back took it for a couple spins it start leaking antifreeze from the front of the timing cover. by reading this good forum so many times i knows these 470 have this problems, when we show this to the mechanic he said the timing cover area has a crack. bull. crap. took it back in the shop, crack the water pump cover. put in the new seals that they did not do in rebuilding the engins , put on a new watwr pump cover. and crack the old one. to cover up his dirty work. shame. my friend pays him 4,000 for the rebuild.
