470 in 20ft cuddy

I am putting a mercruiser 470 in a 20ft cuddy its a 79 mirro marine boat its similar in style to on of the newer trophy hard top cuddy fishing boats I am unsure of the weight but its not real heavy.

My question is what kind of speed do you think I could expect her to reach.

I have a friend who had a 470 in the same boat as in my signature. He topped out at about 30 knots....

I put a merc 165 (inline 6) in a 5500 lb carver flybridge cruiser and got 26 mph with a light load

Should suite my needs fine ill be happy with 25mph just a fishing boat.
