470 points upgrade

I have a 470 and am concidering upgrading to a Pertronix 2 ignitor can someone direct me towards the particular part number I would need thanks

Look for a replacement same points, condenser, and rotor as mercruiser 120 and 140

you might as well convert to a electronic ignition. look on Ebay you will see all kinds of pertronix for sale

Ignitor II, # 91146A ignition, With a flamethrower II # 45111 (epoxy recommended for marine) or 45011 (oil) coil. http://www.pertronix.com/ . You will want to remove the purple resistance wire and replace it with a stranded wire spliced into the choke wire to provide a full 12V to the coil and module.
