My old one broke the main shaft. Can you tell me if part 18-5901 will work? My motor is in the 57----- range, so earlier than the part I am asking about. The original is a Prestolite, MHA 701650-72550. The part above looks like it has the solenoid as a piggyback, and I am unsure if it will fit in the existing space. Any help appreciated. I have had major work done for overheating problem, and still not sure it is fixed.
