Hi there
I have a 2004 496 MAG / Bravo III. Started to get warning beeps, then boat would not idle below 1000 rpm. Ran Diacom software and it shows IAC duty cycle of 99.98%. Other readings seem OK (other than sea temp at 431.6 degrees). Not sure what the normal IAC readings should be? Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Re: 496 MAG Won't idle below 1000rpm

Normal IAC operation for a 496 would be 99.98% for the first two to six minutes after start-up, then it should drop to around 30% (it will varie rapidly, but should generally be mid twentys to mid thirtys).

You said you are getting a soft alarm, what faults are active?
