Stripped my carb last weekend for a good de-gunk.
Schematics I have seen show 2 adjustable needle jets - 1 fast running - 1 slow running.
My fast running jet is inside the float bowl so is inaccessible.
The jet consists of a thin tube with a hole thru, with 2 cross drilled holes. This slides over another very small bore tube fixed to the carb body.
Blowing air down, it exits via the slow running jet port.
Was I right in just nipping it down tight to the carb body?
Why is it not adjustable ?
