I am new to this site and I need HELP. I have a 1996 chaparral 1930 ss with a mercruiser 5.0 200 hp. The problem is it would start to cut out on me then pick right back up. Now it has got to where it will not go over 1000rpm . If I throttle it up more it just boggs out . I have rebuilt the carb earlier this year .Replaced plugs,wires,cap,rotor.sensor in dist. {thunderbolt1v }. Replaced coil Replaced water seperator. And it still boggs out. I did find the distributer loose. Nothing that I do is helping at wits end . Thanks for the help in advance
