5.0 Ford 1995 APHUE New alternator wiring from prestolite. This is a joint venture OMC/Volvo.

I’ve got a new alternator and the posts on the back aren’t labeled the same. The prestolite has orange wire labeled “pos output” and big black wire labeled “AC TAP”. On the new one, does the orange wire or pos output go to the B terminal? Does the Big black wire AC TAP go to the B terminal? The EXC and S are labeled on both alternators. And the ground terminal was easy to local with my tester. Thanks in advance.

I found a chart online that shows how to wire it up. It’s a terminal by terminal guide that leaves no doubt. Maybe it will come in handy for others too.
