Still trying to get used to the new to me boat. What is your average running temp and Oil Pressure? Mine sat at 175-180 degrees all weekend, Oil around 40psi. What does yours run?

Ayuh,... Your water temp is High,.... Should be 160? or 140?, depending on which T-Stat you've got...
Changed the Impeller lately,..??

Acceptable Oil Pressure for a SBC is 10lbs. per 1000rpms....

I've got a 2007 5.0 MPI (Mercruiser) and my temp is about 150'ish and my oil will be about 40 at idle and 60 when running.

ruh roh! Glad I asked. Need to check the impeller!

Oil pressure seems to be ok based on "10lbs. per 1000rpms"

One runs 145, the other runs 160. Oil pressure in the 40-50 range. Every needle on the starboard engine is one needle width higher than the port motor, so they both probably run the same temp but I can't actually swear to it. Same thermostat on both motors, both impellers replaced at the same time (this year).
