Was out today on the 2002 Sea Ray 240 Sundeck, has a 5.0 MPI and a bravo 3 outdrive. Most of today was problem free, but toward the end of the day, when performing the normal trim up once on plane to smooth things out, the RPM jumped from 3000-3200 to 3200-3500, the engine made a deep pulling sound like I was pulling a tube or skier out of the water. Slight vibration accompanied this noise too. When I trimmed it back down it went back to normal, but the slight trim up makes such a great difference in ride, and nothing had changed as far as load goes. Just seemed like something was slipping, shaking, or not performing great. Also of note, around the outdrive was water splashing up from both sides, like something was dragging. This happens when not trimmed up appropriately, but not this severe. This happened on all levels of trim. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Thanks everyone.

Is your boat on a trailer? If so Im assuming that nothing looked out of place? Also I noticed my B3 is very sensititave to trim. One click too much and it starts to cavitate.
