5.0 MPI Trim Indicator Digital/Analog Splice???

Hello,

I have a 2007 5.0 MPI Bravo Three in a 2359 Trophy. The trim indicator works on the smart craft readout when plugged into the "digital" wire on the top of the engine. When I remove it from the digital plug and plug into the "analog" wire, the needle gauge on my dash works but the smartcraft doesn't.

Can I splice the digital and analog together then plug into the sending unit to have both gauges working?

You can only have analog or digital, not both. You can purchase a separate system link trim gauge that pig tails off the Smartcraft system. This gauge provides a 'needle type' digital reading.
