Just bought a 2004 20 ft Maxum, 5.0. It seems to jump out of the whole fairly well, haven't timed it to plane. I have GPS'ed the speed and it seems to run about the same as the dyno readings I have seen. 35 MPH at 3300 RPM's 38 MPH at 3800 RPM's, but that is WOT. I can't get to the 4300 to 4800 that the specs say are WOT. Could the limiter be set down. throttal cable problem, I'm confused. Help please.
