5.0 OSi Low compression in one cyclinder

engine not started for a year. have replaced oil pan (had small leak) and replaced exhaust manifolds and risers. Put Mobil 1 engine oil in

did a compression test (engine has still not been started) all cylinders are at 210 - 220 psi except one cylinder is at 90.

have been told i should run engine up and do compression test again before considering a tear down. what say you guys any tips and advice welcome.

I took valve cover of and valves seemed to be operating ok

Engine ran fine before left up and has only 180 hours on it

I agree. After setting for a year, I wouldn't trust it to mean anything.

yep run it see what it does even your 220 dont seem right thats really high for a stock motor i see 150 0r 160 most of the time with a good motor hot after being run u get around 180 on a good hp motor running pump gas more than that your buying racing fuel
