Good Evening,

My buddy has a Larson 210 LXI with a 5.0 Volva Penta GL-B. He dropped his wife in the water and in about 5 minutes the boat overheated. I assume this is an impeller issue, but was wondering if anyone could help us out on were the impeller or water pump is on a volvo. I have a 5.0 MPI, and my impeller is in the lower unit. Is it the same with a volvo, or is it on the motor?? Thanks in advance for your help. We are looking at replacing it Friday night when we get the lake so he can boat Saturday.

its on the motor, depending on the year its either driven off the crank on the very front or pulley driven on the stbd side of the motor, either way it will have 2 black hoses attached to it.

I appreciate it. So I guess all we need to get is the impeller and take the case off and replace right?
