5.7 350 MAG MIE coil 8M0054588

I have a 2004 350 Mercruiser with the new style coil part number 8M0054588, previous number 392-863704T. This coil has a "driver" attached to it. I have two questions (1) does anyone know if the "driver" can be removed from the coil so that the coil only may be replaced. (2) Does anyone know the GM or Delco part number associated with this coil. I have done some research and can't seem to find any GM or AC Delco cross numbers for it. For reference Volvo Penta used the same coil its part number is 3861985. Thanks again Joe

It looks like it can be unbolted and reused... but i did a little looking and couldn't find just a coil. I could find the assy for about $170. Here's a coil by itself not sure if it's a replacement... it's just by itself. Sorry i couldn't be more help.
