A 5.7GI has about 8 different listings???
Do a fuel pump pressure test.
You have a manual?
Volvo manuals are pricey but well worth the $
I don't know the specs but someone might post them.
A Clymer or Seloc has a lot of info but generally lacks the specs
The coil if it's bad can have the same results.
Run it and get it to where it's failing.
Then touch the coil. See how hot it is.
If you can leave your fingers on it it's not bad.
Too hot to touch=bad.
