I think I've got it right but I just want to check with the experts here. This is the correct gasket for between the manifold and riser, for a motor with the merc closed cooling system?

The smaller openings (along the outside of the main opening) on the exhaust manifold should be sealed by this gasket?

Re: 5.7 Merc manifold to riser closed cooling system gasket question.

Depends on rather your system is a full system or a half system.
If it's set up as a full system and the exhaust manifolds are cooled with antifreeze, then you need the gasket pictured. If you have the half system and you normally have raw water cooling the mainfolds, then those are the wrong gaskets.

If you aren't sure post a picture of your engine and the hose setup for your cooling.

As always, thanks for the help. I do have the full system, diagram attached below to help out the next guy. So this is the right gasket. Thanks again!
