I have a 95 5.7 260 horse on a 20' mirage. Just lately it has started to bog and hesitate through moderate accelleration. If I hit the throttle hard it will run right up to 4400 without any work. If I accelerate easy it will bogg and hesitate until I back off the throttle and hit it again. I have tryied all the obvious problems , so far nothing. Checked timing, vacuum, comprestion, timing advance and had the carb rebuilt. Not sure where else to look

Thanks guys. The engine does not diesel at all and the secondaries may not be opening on time ,but had a tech sitting watching and he did not mention this as a problem. I was also told that the float may be set too low, is that a possibility?
