5.7L mercruiser Help

Hello I have had issues with a fuse blowing that is connected to the fuel pump and can’t figure out the prob so I changed it thinking the fuel pump was the prob and turns out it wasn’t and still blowing the fuse. Any suggestions would be great

Based on your description, it sound like there is a short in the fuel pump circuit. You will have to track it down. Got a multi-meter handy?

Indeed, bad oil pressure switch, worn through wire or a starter solenoid drawing.

Carb, EFI, MPI? Year, serial number. Merc have been using the GM 350 block since the 70's, so we need a bit more information than '5.7'....
