5.7L quicksilver 1999 carb issue

Hi,

99' Rinker Fiesta 270 with a 5.7L mercruiser.

I'm happy thus far as a new boater. I found over the course of last season the idle after a long run is terrible to the point of stalling when docking! Upon cold start up it runs and idles decent . It is prevalent after the engine and carb is warmed up that the rough idle happens.

Any help is appreciated.

When its cold the choke is giving the motor more gas. Once it warms up the extra gas is not there. Look at a carb rebuild, clean and check all adjustments
