5.7th cooling question

Is it normal for the left manifold to be hot to touch and the right manifold to feel cool.

I have just installed a thermostat into the housing where there was not one there previously.

Any advice most welcome.

At idle, yes there can be a difference in temp. Usually evens out under load and higher rpm.
