Don I have a 92 four wins that had the old 5.8 king cobra carburetor version with numerous problems on the engine and out drive . I found a good deal on a nicely rebuilt volvo penta 5.8 efi # on engine is phuece. Can you tell the year from this#? I am having same issue. With some of the wiring not having some of the corresponding connectors on the four winns. The drive and motor mounted in nicely other than have to move the engine motor mounts aft on the stringers. Having said all that I also need som guidance on finding a proper wiring diagram to get this thing fired up and sold! Thanks Kenny

I moved this from someone elses thread to a thread of your own.Best to start a new thread of your own when asking a question.

The HU is the model number and is for the 95 model year.

The old engine was OMC, your new wiring is Volvo as I mentioned in the thread you replied to I don't have wiring diagrams for the 95 Volvo, just that 96.
Don't know if it changed or not.

From the omc section in the stickies at the top of the forum, you can download a Seloc manual for omc that has wiring diagrams in it. It's aftermarket, but they seem to do ok on the wiring diagrams.
