I have just replaced the starter pawl in my merc and reassembled recoil mechanism back on top of engine. when pulling the rope some times pawl does not catch on to motor so rope will just extend out without engaging the motor. The pawl will work most of the time but then it will miss a couple of times this is irritating. what can I do about this?
