I'm having some issues with no spark and I believe it is coming down to this terminal. The previous owner has the Purple wire coming from the top bus terminal disconnected. he also wired in his own overheat buzzer. My question is would the terminal highlight be a bus bar type of terminal or one that has non-connected inputs?

I think this is what I need?

Thanks for your time,

That terminal bar is not a bus type instead it's separate connection points. The purple or grey wire that originally goes in that specific terminal point is the input signal for the tachometer, if equipped. Note overheat buzzer is connected directly to the ignition switch while the other wire goes to the thermo switch which with high temp connects it directly to ground, hence completing the circuit activating the buzzer.
