I'm having trouble starting the motor and keeping it running. I've gone through all the fuel lines and ended up at primer silanoid. I've removed the hose going into the carb but nothing comes out, until I hold the black button down on top and crank it, but then it is very small amounts. Is this suppose to happen, or is it supposed to come out more moderately? Should I replace the silanoid?

The primer solenoid is electric and manual conrolled.
The manual is for "emergency" use, Electric is for normal use.

The primer is instead of an regular choke butterfly and it takes fuel from the carb bowl and squirt a small amount of fuel into the crankcase behind the carb manifold.

The primer solenoid should squirt a small amount of fuel and NOT leak fuel too.
Check the electric control of the primer by pushing the ignitionkey in (if it has that typ of contol) and check if fuel sguirt out from the hose that is connected to the manifold.
If not, then the check that you got 12VDC to the solenoid. If not the keyswitch is bad, if you got 12VDC then the primer is bad.

It's supposed to add a small amount of fuel.
A bunch would flood the engine and you'd never start.

A bad diaphragm in the primer would allow fuel to flow into the primer and flood the engine.
Pinch off the tube from the primer to the intake.
Then see if it runs better???

Do a compression and spark test.
Post the results.

Oh yea Welcome!!
