I have a 1990 50 hp Force. i pulled out the lower plug and found it fouled. It looked like a mixture of oil and water a milky white. Is this a blown head gasket or exaust gasket and are these parts easly replaced without pulling the powerhead? Thanks for the help,Tom

Good question.
I think you are gonna have to pull the head to find out.

Yes, pull the heads, and check the crown of the piston too, while you're in there.

It may be easier to just replace the head gasket (if the piston is ok) and try it again, cross fingers, and pray.
Do a compression reading before and after replacing the head gasket. If the compression comes back, you should be go to go.
