I have a problem starting my 50HP two stroke Yamaha. The only way to get it running from a cold start is to engage the red emergency lever next to the carbs, it starts instantly, then during warm-up it will stall out if the throttle is not advanced in neutral. Once it is warmed up it will run only at idle speed. Advancing the throttle will stall it every time. If you put it in neutral it will rev up OK. The other strange thing is the tech registers about 1000 RPM more than the engine is running at. Any help trouble shooting this condition would be greatly apprieciated.

--------------------
Garbear
