Any clues as to the problem of the oil injector warning signal going off. The oil resevoir is full, yet there seems to be a prob. How would I check to see if it's the warning sending unit or an internal engine problem?
Make sure the cap is on really tight if you just topped it off. This is a common problem where the day you fill up the oil resevoir, all of a sudden, that alarm starts going off.
Is your oil tank under the engine cowling. If so, the oile level sensor is probably bad. I've replaced several tanks with this problem. Unplug the tan wire that is connected to the bottom of the oil tank and see if the alarm stops.
