50ft gibson houseboat soft spot and deck paint

I need some help on repairing soft spot on 1986 50 ft gibson houseboat. After I replace the wood and lay fiberglass, what paint do i use and i want to sand down the whole back and repaint. I need some details on how to do the sanding and repainting.

the paint will depend on budget and location of vessel you are painting. if you have a really low budget and the area is top-side, look up Woodonglass posts and look at his signature. he has outlined how to use inexpensive implement enamel on a boat

if your area is at the water line, that is an entirely different paint. and a higher budget.
