MILEMON! I would look at hustler prop something around 10-11 inches in Diamiter and 13 to 17 pitch :) they have a hustler prop here at Iboats with this measurement: 10-1/8 Dia. 15 Pitch that might work...

Re: 50hp 2003 honda prop advice

Congratulations on your new Honda, you must have been a very good boy this past year ;) What prop were you running on the rude? Try that or come down one step in pitch, the Honda's top rpm should be around 500 over what the rude's was. Did you look at Honda's web site,(boat applications) they have a large list of different boat and motor combo's you might find one that fit's your size/weight and compare prop data.

"...got a gift from the wife new 4stroke honda 50"<br /><br />Does she have any sisters? :) <br /><br />You'll probably want to go with a bigger pitch on that boat. A stock aluminum Honda prop on that outboard will only go up to a 11 1/2 X 14 pitch. Honda has an aluminum option to 11 X 15 pitch. Or if you go to Honda's stainless (Solas Saturn) you can get a 17 pitch. They even have some 4-bladers. <br /><br />Here's the link to Honda's props and even some prop tests on different boats....<br /><br /> http://www.honda-marine.com/hmframeset.htm
