what is the max operating temp for a 1997 johnson 50hp? My indicatorneedle ranges from 10-40 and it is slightly above 30 full throttle Is this a normal temperature?? what should it be at?
Don't know for sure. The standard test is to hold your finger on the head for a count of three. If you can't hold it that long than you are overheating.
