This boat had sat for a while, and the remote throttle really works hard. Seems to be binding inside the control pack. Oiled the carb linkages and they seem to move smoothly. Any ideas on how to loosen up/grease the cables will be appreciated<br /><br />Jerry

Remove and replace the cables. If your cable prove to be good then just greese the works in the box and reassemble it.

Alcan, I was afraid that would be what I had to do. No way to grease the cable?? Over time, the controls have loosened up somewhat. Maybe I'll try to grease at both ends. Guess I'm just cheap.<br />Thanks for your advice.<br /><br />Jerry
