The 1953 Johnson Seahorse restoration project is done. Many thanks go to those in this forum who helped out a neophyte.
Next is a classy stand and a plan on how to convince my wife it belongs in the living room.
Now all I need is a boat...

See all about it at
Seahorse Page

SeaHorse it's even better if your living room has a pointy end and a thick plywood end at the other. If you manage to keep it in the living room I think it'll only be a wee time before your good lady suggests you get a boat for it!!
Just a guess mate.......
Ross

Wow...you did an excellent restoration. It's hard to believe you got that fine of finish from a rattle can...

What's the next project?

Walt

Gorgeous!! I have a 1953 Lonestar "Sportster" 12Footer that needs original colors. I'll try that site when I get ready to dig in.
That pretty green monster sure would look great on the back of it too :)
Now, if we could just find a 1953 Ford F-100 to hook it all up and haul to the boat show!
Seahorse,Nice job on that old girl!!!!

Awesome motor restoration.

I just did a huge roundabout search to find out that you are a member on this same board. I found your website with a general search on the internet and the members here pointed out that you are also a member here. I tried to sign your guest book to get in touch with you via email, but I keep getting a "FrontPage error". I have some questions regarding the restoration of my 1954 Johnson seahorse 25hp, RDE-16, that I was hoping you might be able to answer? Could you please shoot me an email?
