55 HP Nissan Idle problem?

My 55 HP nissan (purchased used 6 months ago) will not idle smooth. My dealer tells me that this is common problem with these motors and their is not way to repair. Anyone know how to make it idle better?

It would depend on why the idle is not smooth. Keep in mind that you have a 2-cylinder engine and that will not be as smooth as a 3 cylinder engine.
