OK here it goes. Start it up and runs for a second, and i mean one second. The carb seems real clean, no adjustment screw on it. Compression is good, plugs look perfect. I can rev the motor up and it runs fine. It's getting fuel. Now i guess i need to pull the fly wheel and check the point gap? OK how do you actually check timming on a outboard.

Also anyone have the lower unit housing they will part with. I dont need gears or anything. Mine has a crak in it. Thanks.
