I just bought a bass tracker with a 55 horse that dosent run the guy I got it from said that one of the coils went out and it was running on one cylinder he replace the coils with cdi and couldnt get it to work. Now with that history what im thinking is you cant just replce the coils with cdi without changing the hole ing system but im not sure about that I need someone to verify that for me and if that is the problem where can I get new coils to put on it thanks for any help in advance

Need serial#s Model# and pics will help.Need to know what year/model were looking at.
The older style coils won't work on new and vice versa.
Before you do anything else do a compression test.A bad cylinder acts just like no spark.
If you can't find it on this site try boats.net They always seem to come through for me..J
